Carla Sedini

Researcher at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano. Sociologist and PhD in Quality of Life in the Information Society, she is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano in Metadesign course and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano in Urban Cultural Studies course. Since 2012, she has been conducting research at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, combining and integrating social research and design. She has been researching and teaching issues related to Creative and Cultural Industries, Territorial Development, Social Innovation and Quality of Life in Italian and foreign universities, research centers, and private clients. She recently published a book titled “Collectively Designing Social Worlds. History and Potential of Social Innovation” (Milano: FrancoAngeli, 2020), other than publishing in several scientific journals and participating in international conferences.
